And November goes,
With the last red berries
And the first white snows.
With night coming early,
And dawn coming late,
And ice in the bucket
And frost by the gate.
The fires burn
And the kettles sing,
And earth sinks to rest
Until next spring.” ― Clyde Watson
We loved how our first board games night ran last week & are keen to keep them going. We are also excited to have cross country skiing back too! Read on to find out how to sign up as a participant or volunteer at our events.
Over the last few weeks, the CYAN board worked hard to put together some information on how we were able to respond to the pandemic and how we hope to continue to serve the young adults in Canmore. Please click on the photo to check out this document with the option to flip through the pdf online or download it yourself.
This is a part of our current fundraising efforts. If you know of someone who would be interested in helping us out please pass it on. We are also excited to now accept online donations through our fiscal trustee, Ralph Connor Church. Use the link below to donate today! We can give tax receipts for donations over $20.
CYAN Yoga, Every Wednesday 7-8 PM at the Opera House
We created a sign up system to reserve your spot online. We will also keep 3 spots open for drop in’s each class as well. If you have signed up and are no longer able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can open it up to more drop in participants. The sign up looks like you’re coming to volunteer, but its the easiest platform for us to use for now.
Board Games Night. Nov 10th & 24th 6-8 PM. 617 Main Street
We have changed venue but still offer a great night of connecting to each other while playing some games! We have over 35 games that you can choose from. We ensure everyone is wearing a mask & sanities regularly to ensure we all stay safe. We do need a few volunteers for these events to help set up & clean the space, and during the event you get to join in on the fun!
Cross Country Ski Lesson with Trail Sports. Nov 19th
Trail Sports (up at the Nordic Centre) is still working on all the details, but right now it looks like they can accommodate 16 spots at $30 each. We will let you know when registration is open, and if all goes well they are keen to host more lessons throughout the season.
